Acting on our commitment to the community, Plaza Bank was delighted to sponsor the 26th Annual Business Growth Conference co-hosted by the USC Marshall Alumni Association and Harvard Business School Association of Orange County held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Anaheim Marriott.
Over a thousand Southern California elite business owners, innovators and entrepreneurs connected at the event. Featured keynote speakers Tony Hsieh, CEO of e-retailer Zappos and Bob McKnight, President and CEO of Quiksilver offered up fresh perspectives about the inner workings of their companies and presented helpful business insights.
Plaza Bank’s senior banker, Al De Grassi, has served as a sponsor and panelist at the HBSOC Entrepreneurs Conference numerous times. Al and Scott Whitfield, Plaza’s Asset Based Lending Manager, moderated a panel and spoke about access to financing for entrepreneurial companies and professionals in the Orange County region.
“Once again the event was a great success and helped connect a strong network of like-minded business owners and provided them insight about gaining access to capital for their growing businesses,” stated De Grassi.
Whitfield added, “This conference gave us an excellent opportunity to interact with entrepreneurs and discuss their needs in the current business climate.”
