A veteran California banker, Robert L. Llorens has a background in financial services that spans more than three decades and encompasses consumer, commercial, mortgage and business lending.
Mr. Llorens spent nearly 20 years with Security Pacific National Bank in its retail banking and commercial lending divisions. He most recently managed 33 of its retail offices in Los Angeles County and served as first Vice President/greater Los Angeles Region Manager for the bank.
He built his career in several notable Southern California banking institutions, including as a Chief Credit Officer for both Pacific Western National Bank and Inland Empire National Bank, and as the Inland Empire Regional Manager with The Bank of California.
As Chief Credit Officer for Plaza Bank, Mr. Llorens is the senior executive accountable for the execution of regulatory compliant and sound lending activities. His responsibility includes the assessment and monitoring of credit risk across all lending lines and quality portfolio management.
